B.A. (Brock University)

Ottawa River Integrative Mental Health/Ottawa River Psychology places an emphasis on high touch, personalized care.  When you call our clinic you will reach a warm, caring live person, often Lee Taylor, our team’s Care Coordinator & Senior Administrative Assistant.  Rather than sending an email or leaving a voicemail seeking therapy that is never acknowledged, Ottawa River Integrative Mental Health is committed to reaching out and responding to inquiries, and either referring out if we cannot assist, or reviewing requests twice weekly with the Director responsible for making individualized matches between new clients and clinicians to ensure that your individualized plan of care considers your unique needs and requests to the best of our ability.
The free initial conversation with your Ottawa River Integrative Mental Health Care Coordinator allows us to understand your needs, and to assess whether our clinicians will be a good match.  We know that you can go anywhere online for your services in search of a bargain in therapy, but research shows that outcomes in therapy are highly attributable to client-clinician match, so we dedicate a lot of time and attention to matching every individual’s needs with the right clinician profile of training, expertise and experience. In the long run this individualized attention, in combination with the diverse range of talents and training in our clinician team, means that we are helping you waste less time in your therapeutic process, and you have the opportunity to move on with living your life more quickly.
We are so glad that kind, experienced Lee Taylor is the front line of contact for so many new clients; Lee and other administrative colleagues will work with the Ottawa River Clinic Director as well as your clinician to make your entry into services a smooth one to the best of our ability.
In addition to bringing her skills around efficiency and organization, Lee loves the opportunity to support the Ottawa River Psychology/Ottawa River Integrative Mental Health team to excel in their areas of expertise, while creating a safe and welcoming space for all who enter our clinic.  She has a life long passion for all things health, wellness, and most of all, simplicity.
Relax and know that you are cared for. As Lee lives in her mindful intention: “One day, one step, one breath at a time.”
