If you are looking for a supportive environment in which to tackle your mental health concerns, I offer a non-judgmental space where you will be accepted unconditionally. Just as pain and suffering are an integral part of human life, so is the inherent capacity for healing. The safety of the therapeutic relationship offers you an opportunity to face past hurts and present difficulties, let go of defences that no longer serve you, and adopt new coping mechanisms. I use an integrative approach, drawing from a range of therapies to help you process emotions, change unhelpful thinking patterns, develop a mental wellbeing toolbox, and live a life more in line with your goals and values.

People with whom I work:

I provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents (17+) and adults.

I am experienced in providing therapy for depression, anxiety, stress, grief, anger, trauma, relationship difficulties with romantic partners, family, and siblings, procrastination, perfectionism, self-esteem, chronic pain, disability and workplace issues. I work with LGBTQQ2SIA+, university students, educators, creative professionals, mental health workers, and polyamorous persons.

Training and Approach:

I hold a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from University of Toronto. I am a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have a special interest in Mindful Self Compassion (MSC).

Taking the first step to begin therapy can feel overwhelming, but I want to assure you that you will not be alone in this journey.
