Do you lose connection with yourself and wonder what direction to take? Are you a person who has an easier time taking care of others’ needs than your own? Do you have a strong inner critic? Do you have an intuitive sense that being kinder to yourself would serve you, but you are not sure where to begin?
Time to take care of yourself with a beautiful day of guided meditation practice in nature at the Yoga Attic in Greely, Ontario. All retreats are guided by psychologist and IMTA certified professional meditation teacher Kimberly Sogge
In this daylong mediation retreat you will learn Buddhist meditation practices for cultivating inner tranquility, listening to your heart, and deepening into compassion for self and others in the morning; in the afternoon you will participate in and receive a taste of the empirically supported Mindful Self-Compassion practices developed by psychologist Christopher Germer and researcher Kristin Neff.
No meditation experience required. All are welcome!
This daylong retreat at the Yoga Attic, in beautiful rural surroundings of Greely, Ontario, will be grounded in zen practices of listening and tranquility, and will strengthen core MSC practices for graduates of MSC courses.
The daylong retreats will take place on Sundays June 7 and October 11, 2020 with registration starting at 830 am and practices running from 9am to 4pm.
Cost will be $165 plus HST and includes a delicious catered vegetarian lunch.
