From 9am to 4pm Sunday April 28, 2019 participants will cultivate mindfulness in the beautiful Northern boreal forest at the peaceful Gaia Wellness Retreat Center. The day of mindfulness practice will include foundational mindfulness practices to support the awakening of the heart, embodied practices of mindful walking (weather permitting), a delicious vegetarian lunch, and an afternoon dharma talk.
All group practices will be offered with gentle guidance an experienced mindfulness teacher.

About the Retreat Teacher:
Dr. Kimberly Sogge C.Psych. is a registered clinical health psychologist, IMTA certified mindfulness teacher, and MSC certified teacher in private practice in Ottawa, Canada www.drsogge.com. She teaches mindfulness based groups with www.ottawariverpsychology.com and specializes in mindfulness and compassion based interventions with high performing professionals. She has practiced mindfulness meditation for 14 years and has trained in the Insight tradition at Spirit Rock Meditation Center (Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Teacher Program MYMT3) and with meditation teacher Mark Coleman (Spirit Rock founding teacher, founder of Awake in the Wild).
